I discovered that song earlier today. It totally kicks ass. I watched the video of it on "Comcast: On Demand" and it described it as a cross between My Chemical Romance (BLEK) and Alkaline Trio. I must say, that is an accurate description. The lyrics are dark; kind of the way I like my women. They are morbid, rather. I'd love to write songs with this style of hardcore/punk/emo thrown in. The vocals also kick ass. We need more vocal harmonies in the music we write, I reckon. Should hire Kristie and Marie as personal vocal coaches, and let them help us.
So, we (my band) was supposed to be playing at The Webster Underground today, but it was postponed to the 14th, which is a Staurday, because.......
IT WAS A SNOW DAY!!
Totally awesome. Been up since 5:40 AM today. I couldnt sleep last night, just because I wasn't used to going to bed so early (around 10:30.)
I wouldn't have been in bed so early if my damn computer wasn't broken. It has something wrong with it where when you start it up, the program "explorer.exe", (which is your desktop icons, task bar, and start menu,) will start up, then go away, then start up again, then go away...and it keeps doing this. Damn. I'm getting it fixed this week, I believe.
Track meet on Friday at Smith College. Woo...hoo.
Hopefully we're still watching "Pay It Forward" in biology tomorrow. I have it first period. Fiore said to my class that she didnt feel like starting anything too big the week we get back, so lets hope.
So yeah, I guess I am looking forward to school tomorrow. The ladies get to see me again...this time, IN JEANS!
