Holy crap. What a few days it has been. Ok. On Wednesday, I saw The Alkaline Trio with opening acts Colossal and Mike Park. The show kicked more ass than I can ever in my lifetime. Here was the setlist for ALK3:
1. Time To Waste
2. Emma
3. Clavicle
4. Warbrain
5. Poison
6. Radio
7. Crawl
8. Private Eye
9. My Friend Peter
10. Bleed
11. Jaked on Green Beers
12. Mercy Me
13. This Could Be Love
Encore: Sorry About That
It was an awesome. Colossal was ok, but Mike Park was fantastic. He is pretty cool. For his set, he brought out a dvd player and projector and played his DVD about anti-rascism and stuff while he played his music. Then he told a long story about one of his songs called "A Girl Named Spike." Alkaline Trio came on, and it totally made my world. Saw some kids from school: a girl named Robyn, who is actually pretty cool, Brenda Bell from my german class, Mike Puffer, Robyn's boyfriend and ex-member of Calling Shotgun, and Brenda's boyfriend, the really tall guy. I also saw my half-brother Justin Morin. He got wicked tall and thin. He plays in the big local band called Five Across They Eyes, and we talked for quite some time. It was sweet. Hes turning freaking 18!! Man, I remember when we just got our instruments and we made a video to "Phat Lip" by Sum-41. Those were some good times, my friends, good times. So basically, the Alk3 show kicked major ass.
Over the weekend, I had to go to Powder Keg Training. It sucked as usual. 15 hours of sitting in one spot. Terrible. Terrible.
Terrible.
Terrible.
Terrible.
I am pretty sure Maura has a softball game this week in Westfield. I havn't talked to her in a week. It makes me sad. I love her so dear.
MAURA I HEART YOU
