ugh
I really don’t mind yard work, except when things like this happen! My arms itch! I think it might be poison ivy, but I’m still not 100% sure. I checked out the areas in the backyard last night, and I couldn’t find 1 single leaf/vine. It could have been hiding under all of the ivy I ripped up and I didn’t even see it. Since all of that stuff was hauled off by Jon’s sister, I have no idea if it was in there or not.
I’ve only had poison ivy once before in my life, and it didn’t look anything like this. I’m starting to get big blisters over the scratches that I had. And on top of the itching, it HURTS. The skin around the area is very tender. Of course everything started oozing today too, yuck.
I have the follow up appt for my heart tomorrow, so I think I’m going to sneak my arms in as well. Thankfully tho, the generic Benadryl cream I got last night takes away the itch, and keeps it away for 6 hours or so. I’ve never had a cream work so well before, it’s amazing.

That’s the biggest part, but I also have a big spot on my right arm, and about 6 small spots on my legs. This part of my arm seems to be spreading upwards as well. It’s really starting to itch now, so I’m going to go wash it and apply more cream!
