There goes my first resolution! I woke up this morning and realized I completely forgot to post last night! I got distracted with walking and doing some other stuff around the house that it slipped my mind. I’m hoping I won’t make a habit of it.
The winter weather advisory didn’t really pan out to much, at least not when I got up and ventured outside. Tonight we’re under a high wind advisory, thankfully there’s no precipitation to go along with it. I wish winter would be over already, and we haven’t even hit the bad part yet!
Looks like I’m going back to Scotland again this year - in just 2 weeks (1/24-2/10)! I’m excited but nervous about flying. I really hate flying. So in preparation for the trip I’m looking at getting a regular point & shoot pocket camera. It was a royal pain in the ass to lug my Nikon D50 over there with me, not to mention I was afraid it was going to get busted or stolen. I figured this way Jon can use it too, since he’s mentioned in the past that he’d like a camera to take pictures with. Now the problem comes with deciding which one to get. I’ve narrowed my selection down to 4 - Nikon CoolPix S610, Canon Powershot A1000 IS, Canon Powershot SD1100 IS, and the Canon Powershot 2000 IS. They all have their pro’s and con’s, and I’ve seen both good and bad reviews for each of them. Does anyone have one of these camera’s?? Thoughts? I may have to go to the store to play around with them, so I can see how they feel/operate.
I can’t really think of anything else to say. LOL. I guess that’s all for now.
