Tonight, Tonight

Tonight was a wonderfully silly night with the boy I love. We decided to go to Best Buy to check out sale-type things. I drove to his house, noticed the garage door was open, and snuck in all stealthy-like. Well, minus my inability to control the garage door and having it accidentally slam behind me. Oops. I was planning on scaring him REAL bad, but when I got to his door and began to open it ever so slightly, I found him snuggled up in bed, sleeping peacefully. There's just something about watching the person you love sleep...my heart almost hurt, it was so innocent and beautiful. I abandoned Operation: Frighten Boyfriend when his heavy eyelids opened for a split second and politely whispered to his brain that I had arrived. His voice was thick with sleep when he sleepily murmurred "Hey, baby" and I knew that was my invitation to climb under the covers. Molding my body to his side, I draped my left arm across his abdomen and my hand found the groove of his hipbone to ease into. I buried my face into the flesh right under his collarbone that's almost too inviting, and was formally greeted by lips on my forehead and day-old scruff against my cheek. We existed like that for quite some time, which was undeniably more important than space, time, engagements, or curfews. The warmth of his body and the shallowness of his breath were synchronous with the comfort I have come to associate him with.

Far and away, the simplicity of tonight was one of the greatest notions of being alive that I have experienced.

Though today was filled with much more than just that, I find it all to lack the significance.

I'll share anyway :)

Morning
I woke up around 7AM to butt heads with other insane shoppers. Bought some super secretive Christmas presents for the boy @ CompUSA, as well as at Best Buy. Best Buy was completley and utterly swamped, and I was in line for a good half an hour. At least I got what I needed. Got home around 9:45AM, and went out to breakfast with the family/extended fam before they departed. No food for me, because for unexplainable reasons, I hate breakfast. Either way, the company was lovely, and I'm sad to see them go so soon.

Afternoon
Le Mom and I headed to Countryside Mall, which was a complete zoo...ironically, it wasn't as bad as I expected. I bought some new nose/lip jewelry, as well as some lip gloss and another super secret boyfriend present :) I know my mom bought a few of my Hannukah presents while we were out, because every time I would attempt to join her at the register, she shooed me away. Moms are so nice. We also went to CompUSA (again!) to look at a TV she & the dad want to buy, Old Navy to see if they had anything good (they didn't), and Target for meaningless baubles and random assorted crap (mission:accomplished).

Evening
Tonight I bought the boy the last of his super-secret presents via the Intraweb. That thing sure does come in handy. Afterward, I proceeded to his house (see above ridiculously sappy babble), and when he went to a friend's house for a Halo 2 party (dear God save us), I went home, clipped coupons, and watched Best Week Ever. A wonderful evening indeed.

I wrote a sex poem a few weeks ago. Tee hee.

...the boy liked it :)

3AM = time for sleep, because 7:30AM = wakeup time. Me + Boy = Shopping. <-- yay :)

xoxo me

PS-I saw Krystal & Nick today @ Target, which was great because I haven't seen either of those two crazy kids in ages. It was just lovely!

PPS-I also saw Ms. Katie Holden working for the man at American Eagle today. She was sassy, and you can be too if you go visit her there. I hope she gets into UCF :)

PPPS-My life is really good and getting better every day. I like that.
