...Dammit, I do not want to do my own take on Rose's POV of Nine/Jack.

This is great, and I love the mention of the light.

Ooh. Now I want to know what your take is! Partially because I don't actually know what mine is yet. I suspect she's a tiny bit too naive to see them as more than two blokes hanging out together, and if they shun her in favour of each other, it's like Mickey wanting to watch the football. If she discovered they were having sex, she would probably be quite shocked at first.
(thinking (sort of) aloud here...)

Anyway. Glad you liked it!

You know, I think it's complicated.

Cause I'm not nuts about Rose (as you know) but Jack and the Doctor are obviously very fond of her. So, I have a hard time imagining them doing a lot of shunning. I also do think she'd be flustered and confused by the Doctor's side of the equation, but probably not Jack's, and that would give it an in to making it not long lasting WTFBBQ. She's obviously nuts about the Doctor, but obviously still loves Jack in PotW, which ends with me kind of.

Okay, I don't know where it ends. Pardon the ramble in your fic post.

The ramble is good!

I'm not really sure what was going on with Jack and Rose after The Doctor Dances, because I don't remember them interacting very much in Boomtown, or the finalé. Jack obviously dotes on her, but how she sees him once the initial 'good-looking stranger with an invisibly ship' reaction wears off... well, maybe I need to watch the episodes again, but there's very little development of her friendship with Jack.

There's not a lot. MOstly I think it's a case of me going "Well clearly she's worried about him." At the very end, both when he goes off, and when the Doctor's running away.
