Geezus Kristo. 2 years?!?
So for some reason, I randomly put a finished-date on the bottom of one of my Scorched Earth pages(somewhere past the middle of the pages I have so far), and realized how long it took for me to get from THAT point to where I am now. It has taken me 2 years and 3 months to finish... wait for the drumroll... 18 pages. 18 pages?!? 2 years to do a mere 18 pages?!? I have 77 pages finished right now, and thats not EVEN halfway through BOOK ONE!!! Dammit!!! God! How long is this story going to take me to tell?!? Lets see... if I work on it at the pace I'm going now...Book One I'd estimate has about 175 pages... Book 2 has about 130 pages... Book 3 has about 80 pages... So I have ABOUT 310 pages to go...took me about 4 1/2 years to finish 77 pages... figure in that I took a vacation from the book for a little over half a year... I should be finished in aaaabbbbooouuut... 16 years?!? Did I do the math right? Holy God! 16 years?!? Screw that. SCREW THAT!!! Time to start working on this thing HARDCORE!!! Oh God. Please don't let this story take me this long to do... whimper.
