A Mouse in the House
[On the counter in the kitchen there's a mouse dressed like Sherlock Holmes, holding a magnifying glass to the ground.]
Sorry, Toby, doesn't look like he's been here at all. What do you say to me finding you a treat though?
[The bloodhound barks his approval and wags his tail, prompting Basil to ponder just how he's going to open some of these cabinets. He spies a piece of butcher's string, and makes a knot in one end of it, then leans over the edge of the counter to tie it tight to a handle. He holds up the other end for the dog to grab with his teeth.]
All right Toby, pull! That's it boy!
[The door swings open, and Basil hops onto Toby's head and then inside. A few moments later he holds up a dog treat to the dog, who happily wolfs it down.]
