Who pissed off God today?

Seriously, the weather has been apocalyptic lately. One minute it's warm, the next it's cold, one day sunny, one day rainy (like today)--argh! Too much! So, who was the one that woke up this morning and said, "Hmm, I think God isn't angry enough, let me do something about that"? red_maven, I'm looking at you.

Anyway, because of the insane weather, it's been a mess out there, which is thoroughly aggravating me. A little bit of water and everyone in the subway loses their minds. Not to mention my umbrella broke, so I had to get a new one at lunch or face death by drowning. It's just not my day, lol.

BUT, some good stuff did happen. I started watching The Listener for the first time and I'm happy to say I loved it. The main character, Toby, is quite dreamy and his laid-back sweetness puts a good twist on the psychic avenger theme. And the subplots about his past should also make for an interesting hour, as well.

Also, I seem to have gained a little popularity on Twitter. Warren Ellis tweeted, "I am convinced that all the women on my followers list are bots who want to pulp my brain for joint lubricant." So, I replied, "The store was out of vaseline, so what's a girl to do? *turns on bone saw*" And he retweeted it! This is what I love about that man, he is the only celeb that will sometimes reply to something I say. Yes, it's only the second time, but so what? It's still cool! And it's being retweeted by other people, too, which is neat. It's too bad I don't care about gaining followers, or I'd be ecstatic at this turn of events.

Final awesome thing that happened: I finally bought the necklace I've been obsessing over for ages. It's a silver cast pendant with the door to the Chalice Well etched in it. If you know your Welsh folklore, the stream there is dark red and represents to some the red dragon of Wales. If you're Christian, then you might know the legend that the water is red because the blood of Christ that was carried over in the Holy Grail runs deep in the stream. Either way, it's a pretty neat place. You can check it out here if you're interested. Anyway, someone designed a pendant on the door of the well, and I've been going back and forth on whether to buy it. But I gave in today and boy am I glad! I should hopefully get here in a week or so! I'll post pictures when I get it! Promise!

Aaaand, that just killed enough time so I can get out of work now! Thanks for being my accomplices!
