Huh, you learn something new every day...
So, apparently, straight men have found a way to hit on women from the comfort of their car's driver seat. Yesterday, as I was walking home, a guy was just sitting in his car, letting it idle. (Which is an environmental hazard, by the way.) When he saw me coming, he started flashing his brights in my eyes to get my attention. Short of blinding me, I only glared in his direction and kept walking. Now I know there is something more obnoxious than honking your horn at someone while going 45 mph. I mean, really? That's the best this idiot can come up with? Maybe if he manages to completely eradicate some poor girl's corneas will he be able to score a date. *sighs and shakes head*
In other news, the job I'm working at is going pretty well. Things have started rather slow, but I get the feeling things will pick up soon. I'm just so tired all the time, which is probably the only drawback, so I end up just going home, eating, showering, and going to sleep. Ugh. But I'm hoping I'll get used to getting my ass up at obscenely early hours of the morning.
In OTHER other news, I've started writing again. Not in the hardcore way I was writing for class in school, but I've slowly begun the process of shaping my "Concerning the Missionary Position" universe. At the moment, I'm actually more obsessed with the dominatrix's world than the Mormon missionaries' world, so I'm going to be focusing on that for a while until I'm satisfied enough with that to start working on my two hapless Church boys. I also want to start working on some fanfic. I have so many ideas and I just need to push myself to get them down. At least now that I'm actually up and about and doing things, I'll be more motivated to start working on my stuff. Maybe I'll even try to do it on the morning train. That's doubtful as I'm more likely to fall asleep, but a person can hope.
