How is it that I've gone so long without knowing Torchwood? I mean, seriously. Pretty British (and one American) boys and girls who are all bisexual and everyone is having sex with everyone else! Best of all, it's scifi! It's like the slasher's holy grail! The pairings are canon (for the most part)! It's amazing! I'm literally ashamed to have waited so long to find out about this treasure. But no more! Now, I am caught up and I eagerly await every week for the next episode to be up for download. Next step: convincing my dad to get me BBCAmerica so I can watch it on tv. Hmm...
In other news, I saw 27 Dresses today. It was schlocky and sentimental, but I enjoyed it. Katherine Heigl is cute as a button, I love the best friend, the Goth wedding was my favorite (with an appearance from Krysten Ritter aka Gia Goodman from Veronica Mars), James Marsden is still hot, Pedro is the cutest little brother and I still think Tess got off too easy. In short, if you get a chance, see the movie. It's a fun way to spend two hours.
Btw, has anyone noticed the crazy snow? It was crazy! Came out of nowhere! I do appreciate it, though, since it gave me a chance to sleep and work on the major original story I have to have the beginning written for Tuesday. 20 pages of dominatrix's antics and unsuspecting missionaries. Yeah. You heard me. *grin*
