The problems with this computer are never ending.
I need to update tonnes. The last days of our holiday (still), 1st September, 15th October, 16th October and a few days in between, but.....
My computer is pretty buggered again. The internet just about works but is so painfully slow. The start up takes even longer and everything takes a year to load.
What happened was I was on the internet on Friday night before tea, uploading photos onto photobucket, then it started making a ticking noise and everything started slowing right down, so in the end I just turned it off and back on again. When it started up it was searching for some sort of 'BOOT' in the A drive but couldn't find it, so I kept restarting it and eventually got it into safe mode.
I told no one to go on the computer because I was trying to sort it out, then Maddie being the bitch she is, goes on to talk to her friends on MSN. Then shuts the bloody thing down. A huge fight then broke out and resulted in injury of both parties, which I'll tell you about in a proper post for that day.
Not the best of timing since this is my last weekend to write my personal statement and choose my courses on the UCAS site. I've still got to find out if they'll give me lower entry requirements because I'm taking 4 subjects and will pass for equivalent tariff points but not on grades.
I think I'm absolutely applying to St. Andrews which is ABB, Royal Holloway ABC/BBB, University College London BBB, Liverpool BBC and now I think I need to find one place asking for BCC incase I do crap and somewhere asking AAB incase I do unexpectedly well. Any suggestions?
