Dinner.

Dec 23, 2004 18:43

So we're sitting at dinner, eating steak, asparagus in vinegarette sauce, homemade bread, and sauteed potatoes. Halfway through, my brother Colton (6 years old) stands up on his chair and calls for silence. He proceeds to inform us that "It's going to cost $5 for anyone who wants to see my take my sweatshirt off." Calmly, and normally, Logan runs upstairs and gets $5. Through this, nobody's said a word. Colton recieves his payment, and jumps off his chair. He stands in front of the sliding glass door, turns his back to us, begins to shake his hips, and lifts his sweatshirt up.

He pulls it off his head, whips it to the ground, turns around and screams "Woooo!"

My family claps.

Colton sits back down, and we finish dinner. He's now playing darts on a magnetic dartboard he got for Christmas.

The normality of this situation is what terrifies me.
