It's not until he hears something flop into the back seat, a few papers crinkling in response to the invasion, which made Sam give up on sleeping for now. He rubbed the heel of his palm against his eye to wipe away any of the little crusties that might've formed. With a sigh, blinking a few times before looking over to Dean. ] Y'know, you're going to rot your teeth drinking all that soda.

For good? Dude, like you need a sugar high. Bouncing off the walls won't exactly let you focus.
[ Raking a hand through his hair did nothing than tousle it more. He could feel the weariness pecking at the back of his head, but sleep wasn't easy for them. It never was unless they had exhausted themselves most of the time, which wasn't the case right now. Glancing around the car, he expected to see a wrapper or something from the sandwiches they had picked up before they left the last town, but to his surprise he didn't see any. ]
