All About You - 2006
Ok, I did this about this time last year, and now it is time to do it again. I want to start the year off right by telling you all what I think of you - yes, each and every one of you. Why I like you and why you’re on my friends list. This will take awhile - there are a lot more of you than there were last year! So I expect this to last over a couple of days.
The A’s
a_lost_marianne - I’m still getting to know you. You seem sad somehow, but I get the feeling you are a fighter - someone who will always eventually find her way. The love you have for your son really comes through in your journal, and it is wonderful to see.
aetra - we’re fairly new friends, you and I. (It’s always good to meet people in Greg’s journal!) I love the comments that you make. Sometimes you just crack me up - especially when you and Greg get going! But we’ve also had some nice “comments chats” and I look forward to getting to know you better.
afellowwaitress - ah miss, life hasn’t been good to you lately, has it? I’m so sorry for that. I miss your writing and your clever wit. I am sure you will be back on your feet again soon, once you get everything worked out. I loved your stories about your home life and especially the stories from when you were a kid. I bet you and your sister were quite a handful!
amarama - I don’t have the words to tell you how much I have gotten from reading your journal and being a part of your community. Politically you have opened my mind in so many ways and you and your cohorts constantly get me to look at things in a new way. I don’t always comment, but I am always reading. I am so glad for the day I spied your pirogue entry on Gordonzola’s webpage!
anarqueso - I don’t know you very well yet. I friended you on recommendation of susanstinson, and I see why she suggested that I read you. You are one clever writer. Like amarama, your writing, and more frequently your comments in other journals, often make me think about things in a different way.
archiedavis - ah, my old friend!! You were one of the first people I friended when I got this thing. I found you through zeppo’s journal, and back then, when I seemed to have ample time on my hands, I went through and read your entire journal. God I love your writing. You make me laugh in ways that are entirely inappropriate and yet so, so much fun. One of these days you and I are going to meet in person, and I can’t wait. It’ll be a day to remember!
atmywhim - You haven’t updated this in quite awhile, which is understandable considering why it was created. In a way I’m glad, because this was a place of some heartbreak and sorrow, and while I know you still have some hard things going on, in a way it is good you don’t need this anymore.
