Have you ever seen a sea star move?
I had never seen this before. Though I did know that they move using hydraulics! Basically, they use a vascular system to take in water (through the madreporite) and essentially move it to the rays (arms) of the direction they want to go. I think this is very cool.
Also, most sea stars can regenerate a lost limb. As long as it's still got the center part of itself, it is still alive and well and can regenerate.
Sea stars are Stupendous!
