It is the foundation of any important or meaningful relationship, whether it is a friendship, romance, partnership, or any other sort of association. Though a person may be able to forgive it, even a single minor violation of trust may put a crack in that foundation that might never be able to be repaired.

That being said, there are still different types of trust, and different levels.
Example: Max knew my EQ password which happened to be my password 2 life, as well, and he didn't break in the situation where, for some reason, Gally(sp?) thought he had every much right to my in game items as I had (pissed me off a lot, that by the way. In retrospect, I returned to the game later and played my character again, whereas Galley just sort a quit a few weeks after that happened); however, you said, I beleive, that you would have given the password over to Ghalley in a second, which is the exact reason why you never knew my password. Doesn't mean I don't trust you, because I still do. Just means, I trust you with certain stuff, because there are things that I would sooner talk to you about than Max.
That is the nature of trust though. It isn't a two dimensional thing. Even those that are afforded it don't all get the same type of trust.
The internet friend was what I had in Rachel, you know. It just became more serious on my end and ended up changing, since we've met and spent time with each other in person multiple times. Other than that, you know how I feel about online chat now...but I will consider it.
