A year in memories...
What a year, what a year. 2008, good and bad. Nothing but moving forward, and as a whole, it was a great year. Started out kind of shitty, in regards to employment and what have you. But Zoe and I had the beginnings of a beautiful relationship, and then I proposed to her. I quit culinary school, and now I'm working in a kitchen. So I've managed to find my partner/lover/best friend and get a toehold into a career path.
So, in summation, 2008 was the true beginning of adulthood for me. I learned a lot about myself, my limitations, my goals. Lost some friends, made some better ones. 2009 leads to a wedding, more work, more of the novel, and most likely the beginning of our adventures in Europe.
Sort of lame, for an end of year recap, but it was all good. And the next shall be even better.
