Omg, so my day was totally sucking, and then you posted this and instantly made it ten thousand times better, I am not joking. Which is why I read it twice and am now probably going to reread the whole series over again.

I loved this, all of it, from Kariya finding out about Josh/Neku, Neku finding out about Mr. H, Neku giving the necklace to Shiki, to the whole bit between 777 and Kariya re:Neku and who had dibs. I don't know why, but I totally thought Neku would be going to Shiki & Eri's fashion show, which makes no sense now that I think on it. I also really hope we'll get to see more of Minamimoto's reaction to the ornaments placed on his "masterpieces" lol.

Part of me totally hopes that when Saika and Neku finally have the showdown that seems to be looming, Neku will totally slap Saika down like she's nothing. I know it won't be that easy, but wow would it be satisfying. XD

So is Kariya, even though he doesn't mean to be. All his knowledge, and letting it slip that Hanekoma was involved, and Neku being the child he is and finding loopholes that allow him to make things 'better' and his respect for CAT less idiotic and-and-

When I started this chapter, Kariya was not supposed to let that slip. I was just sort of going along letting him do whatever and then he's like OH YEAH HANEKOMA'S BIG SECRET

me: what did you just do. That wasn't supposed to happen for another chapter.

Of course, the figments know better than I do - I like the way this works better than my original plan. And Shiki and Eri are my necessary ballast to keep grumpy Kariya from sinking the whole thing in emo.

We are now at the top of the fic hill. No more foreshadowing. If I'm very lucky, it's going to be corkscrews and hairpin turns from here to the ending.

I'm always so impressed by the way you're able to bend your writing style to the world of TWEWY, rather than the other way around. If Square Enix ever looks to make a TWEWY novel, I'd nominate youuu---

Thanks. I try really hard to temper my preferences to something that works for the story and the universe. It helps that I have the world's best beta to bounce ideas off of.

If Squeenix ever goes further with any of the WEWY-verse, I would just hope they'd notice what an interesting world they came up with.
