So this is a heads-up to my friends before it gets announced officially, but Tony (singer) is leaving Never Ithaca after 2 years. No animosity, he just wants to do something different with his musical path. No biggie.
It's unsure what will happen to the rest of us. I can imagine that some of us will stick together and write more music. I don't think we'll still be called Never Ithaca (after close to 4 years of being called that), but it's a possibility.
Either way, our last show together is July 21st at The Warehouse. We're headlining and Faith In Arms is playing. It'd mean a lot if some of you could make it out to the show. To paraphrase Burgundy; It's kind of a big deal. I'm going to be a wreck after the show, being that this is the end of a major part of my life, so mass-drinking will probably ensue back at Nate/My apartment.
Thanks again to everybody who came out to shows (I think all of you did at one time or another)...we'll have free copies of our (ironically) just-finished EP at the show.
word.
