I have a lifelong, terrible habit of picking at my cuticles/skin around my cuticles until they are a bloody mess as well. :-/ I do it so unconsciously that I don't even realize what I've done until I'm bleeding. o_O Acrylic nails were the one thing that stopped me doing it. Well, they are the one thing that stopped me from hurting myself while doing it. They are so thick and smooth, you simply can't dig in enough to do damage. The down side is, I still did it while I had them on...they just prevented injury. When I took them off, I hadn't stopped the habit. I suppose that's not very encouraging to say, is it? :p

Over the years, though, I have managed to at least limit the picking to just my thumbs, rather than every finger I have. At least that's something, right? :p

That's possibly the best looking fake nails I've seen. I though they were all campy and tasteless.

I had to cut them down so I could actually, like, type, but yeah they're surprisingly nice! They did look very campy and tasteless at their original length though. I can't figure out why anyone would bother having them that long.

Whenever I get sick of the mutilated nails I have, I get fake nails put on. Here's hoping it works better for you than it does for me!
