This is Lucy!
"Lucy" is short for "Lucifer" or possibly "Luciferra" - she's an all-black cat with orange eyes and a destructive streak, found at Hallowe'en. The paperwork all says "Lucy" because there's no way in hell we're having the name "Lucifer" pop up when someone scans a stray lost black cat if *we* lose her. Lucy was a stray, found by
moiread. She's about 7 months old, was unspayed, uncollared, and unchipped, and was totally lost and starving and friendless and hungry and wouldn't you please take her inside?
So I got called to take her to the Humane Society, because I have a car and a soft spot. And when her owners didn't claim her, I did.
(Lucy likes CAMERA)
She's now spayed, chipped, collared, tagged, vaccinated, and ensconced in The Spare Suite for her vet-mandated 14 days of interacting with The Native Animals only through a closed door, after which we will let her out and Piper will sit on her and there will be squirmishes galore and I plan to videotape it all.
(Lucy has a TONGUE.)
She is my cat, mine. She's playful, cuddly, purrs like a motorboat, and thinks the New Monkeys are Best Monkeys.
