i think that paiton is either very sick or in a lot of pain. i woke up this morning to her standing on the bed panting. i thought she might be warm from sleeping with me all night so i took her out to get some water and go to the bathroom. she moved very very slowly and didn't care to smell out where she marked her territory which is not at all her character. she was still panting by the end of this so i took her upstairs and lead her to water again. she drank some and then tried to make it over to me. i tried to calm her by petting her but this didn't work she didn't even want to lay down. she heard something outside and wanted to get it and that made me feel better because she had enough energy for that. but then she tried to lay down, got halfway there and gave up. this is when i saw she started favoring her back left leg.
i brought her bed to the living room so she could be around me, and helped her lay down. she's now laying with her eyes half open, breathing fast, shaking every inhale. she feels hot like she could have a fever. i'm very worried for her. i want to take her to the vet but i really don't have the money. especially since its a sunday and only the emergency vet is open which is very expensive.
i doubt this is life threatening but i really can't lose paiton. i hope she gets better soon. and i am never having children at this rate.
