Well I'm glad you realize we're not a threat.

I was speaking of humans in general, not of any individuals in particular.

I am certain that there are many who could be considered as such.

We could be a threat. After all, we've beat back the Skrull and Kree Empires several times, staved off Galactus, and protected ourselves against all kinds of invaders. But we choose to work on our own world rather than pursue any expansionist policies.

You could be a threat, yes, but it seems likely that you yourselves would simply become like the Skrull and Kree Empires you are so proud of having staved off. While there is much work to be done in order to improve your world, I can at least respect anyone who so much as makes an honest attempt to do so.

It's true, we might, but I doubt it. We have far more diversity than either empire. I would like to think we would become more like the Shi'ar.

It would be better if you did not attempt to emulate others. As you have said, Earth has much diversity, and this can be used to your advantage.

I didn't say we would try, I said I hope we would be more like the Shi'ar than the Kree or Skrull Empires.

And I hope that one day the Skrull Empire is not viewed so very negatively by your people.

The fact that when I left they were trying to invade us does not help. I know that's not the policy of all Skrulls, but they do seem to keep attempting it.

They were religious extremists. Many of us are actively working towards peace, and do not condone their actions. Personally, I fought against my own people during the invasion, in order to protect Earth.

Yes, unfortunately those extremists were running the government. And I know you did, and we appreciate it.
