Okay my review of jarhead in 5 sentences, etc...
I viewed "Jarhead" this evening with 11 other people and having heard that half of the critics detested the film, i didn't know what to expect from sam mendes. the movie was the strangest film, definitely a psychological study on the effects of war and the corresponding expectations. most of my friends didn't care for it, and while torn right after viewing, i realized the acting was superb and the story was nothing short of original. very different, very disturbing, and very graphic but overall it has my approval, so go see it even if you don't think you will like it. okay, on tuesday i am meeting steVEN and l.c. from "laguna beach" at XS. how lame is it to want to meet these snobby materialistic rich kids? oh well i rule, and i'm seeing bill clinton's address here at school. i feel kind of lucky for some odd reason. i register for class tonight...i better get all the of the classes i want or i will be pissed the fuck off. i feel oddly relieved today for some reason.
