Last night I saw the video of a Texas Rep berating a Park Service ranger at the WW 2 memorial saying that she was such a terrible person, meanwhile he voted for the shutdown. I guess for Republicans that there's no consistency like logical inconsistency.

I don't know how they thought this would work. Of course Obama can't cave, not only because of what's going on now but because of the future. I keep hearing that the Tea Partiers aren't actually stupid, they're just playing to an ignorant group of supporters, but when I see stuff like this I really have to wonder.
