Ye cats, that was an ending and a half. I'd quite forgotten about the lyrium idol! It's a shame, too, as Meredith's design rocked (and suddenly the loading screens made way more sense). Of course, I sided with the mages in the end. I couldn't let the templars kill my baby sister after what happened to Carver and Ma Hawke, after all (oh man, Ma Hawke. That was horrible). Other matters:
-Romanced Anders, regretted it as soon as he lied to me about separating from Justice (goshdangit, Anders). I had no idea he was going to turn out to be such a massive douchenozzle. Why are both of the male LIs such massive angstbuckets? Next playthrough it's Isabela all the way.
-ANDERS YOU TOOL WHY DID YOU BLOW UP THE CHANTRY.
-P.S ANDERS I AM NOT BREAKING UP WITH YOU BECAUSE THE TEMPLARS ARE FORCING US APART I AM BREAKING UP WITH YOU BECAUSE YOU BLEW UP THE FREAKING CHANTRY.
-He's lucky his status as primary healbot kept him alive, is all I'm saying :|
-Lost Isabela with the relic in Act 2, which was a shame dialogue wise but not much of a big deal in combat as Zinda was a rogue. I did miss her in the final battle.
- Arishok battle took 2 tries, but I was playing on casual. Yes, I am a big wuss. *sunglasses* Deal with it.
-Apparently Fenris followed my Hawke into hiding! Also he went bald with age, judging by the picture! This amused me far more than it should have.
Welp, it was no Mass Effect, that's for sure. But it filled the gap for a while and I'm not sorry I played it. I'll be giving it a rest for a while then starting an M!Hawke playthrough, or maybe another Zinda playthrough now I know what to avoid.
