Here's an excerpt of something I'm currently working on in between dissertation stuff:

"Don't tell me you came all the way across the Channel just to play silly buggers-"
"YOU WILL BE VISITED," France repeated, louder and shaking his chains for emphasis, "By three spirits..."
England makes such a great Scrooge it's almost scary.
