My two weeks at GMTV were quite fun, and made me remember how much I like being busy and constructive. Also after nearly the whole time not seeing anyone who might count as well known, in one day I have a brief chat with Boyzone in one of the greenrooms while collecting the fish for the Toonattick show, and then walked past Phil and Fern on my way to the props store on an errand.

Getting to see inside the building was quite fun, like being let in on a secret that all the autograph hunters hanging around outside probably think is all glamorous. If only they knew the truth. *G*

Plans are gradually taking shape as well for what I want to do in the future. I think the time I've spent doing quite a few different jobs has helped me focus in some ways on what I know I enjoy and can become very good at. Though at the same time makes me want to keep trying more different things and not want to commit myself to only one thing. Like being an old fashioned entertainer, I want to have multiple skills I can use to do what I enjoy and not limit myself.

The new season of Strictly Come Dancing has got my dancing bug going again and as soon as I have the money I'll getting myself some dancing shoes and some classes and jive my around a ballroom somewhere.

I can see how the fantasy of winning a few million, or even a few grand on the lottary can be so appealing. It solves lots of simple things and can open a lot of opportunity for things that aren't there when you don't have a few million in the bank account.

Still, the long way is always the most likely and anything else is wishful thinking and fantasy. Not that fantasy can't be a bad thing though. I do firmly believe though, if you want something enough you can make it happen, you just have to put the effort and hard work in.
