Your Friendly Neighbourhood Obsessions
I've been pondering this idea for a few days, since that last post about the model firefly dolls house idea. I dug up those pictures of the ship and interior drawings and I've been running the idea over in my head, how it might work practically.
I've been thinking of maybe starting with just doing a model of one of one of the shuttles, just to get the hang of how to make it and what the best kind of materials to use. I need to try something basic, otherwise I'll get caught up in all the details and not get anywhere fast.
I like the thought of doing a separate model of the interior of Inara's shuttle and getting to decorate the interior. I can do some scale drawings of the outside of the ship and help to divide it up into sections. I've been thinking about the ship models I've put together before and the ones I still have left to finish.
I'd like the chance to get those done and touch up some of the old ones, also to have somewhere to actually hang them all up sometime. That would be neat.
Guess I've got another project to add to my list of things to do this time. *g*
