A Few Things To Do

So I had a look over the Application form for the local film production union and I reckon there are a few things I need to do before I can realistically try for it. For starters on the application I need to have a clean driving license and a Federal Firearms Possession and Acquisition License

You have to have a firearms licence to be in the union??? O.O

Apparently, for the Props department anyway. I guess you never know what you might have to handle on a set and you need to be covered for everything.

I know *g* There are probably a few people out there thinking "please don't give her a gun, for the love of god."

I know, I wasn't quite expecting that. I kind of like that my plans are constantly changing, I never know what might be coming up or when I might completely change from I had planned originally.

It just sounds so exciting. I used to dread change and then over the past few years I grew to love it. I think being able to travel across Canada like you're doing is just an amazing adventure.

It's certainly been a great experience so far. I'm not sure what exactly I was expecting, I think I pretty much just thought I'd come over and see what happened.

I'm getting a taste for adventure though, I could get used to it. ;-)

I'm guessing for the Props department you never know when firearms might be needed for the production, and if you do have them then only licensed people are supposed to handle them.

Could be quite fun though. *g*
