Out of curiosity, what is the *rule* about paying for your electric bill, car payments, etc. if you have just been devastated by a *natural* disaster?
I don't really keep my statements on hand, as I do online payments for just about everything. Most of my bills are going to be due next week and if Francis continues on her righteous path, I won't have electricity. Can't pay them now, because after last hurricane and John not being able to go into work, we're doing a little bit of playful juggling.
Is there a grace period for this kind of thing?
