A sharp-talking sharpshooter with a whole lot of wit and a no-nonsense attitude - Roy knew that Sarah was a soldier from the get go because of her first post on the network, and couldn't help but feel like they had something in common in that, at least. They have a professional relationship at the moment - exchanging info and favors over the network - mottled with small and warm moments full of the good-natured sort of teasing that's found between fighters like themselves.
Tassadar and Selendis are from Kerrigan's world, and their adverse reaction towards Kerrigan together with Kerrigan's own suspicion of the pair do worry Roy quite a bit. Things seem to have settled down for the moment, and the Meister hopes that it stays that way. He firmly believes that Sarah isn't going to become what she's supposed to in Death City, and he'll do what he can to help her out if she's ever under attack.
SARAH KERRIGAN, WEAPON ☇ C-20A RIFLE
America's Meister, and a crack shot whom Roy eventually befriended. They've grown incredibly close in the months that they've spent in each other's company, and used to make it a point to meet up for drinks whenever they can spare a moment. Roy's been incredibly busy these days, however, and as such, it's been a while since they've talked. Still, he's got Yoko's back, just as much as Yoko has his.
It has recently come to Roy's attention that Yoko's interested in Miles Edgeworth, another one of his friends. Edgeworth, however, seems to be completely oblivious towards the entire matter.
Roy's willing to step in and help them up the ante, of course. It'll do them BOTH good!
YOKO RITONA, MEISTER (★) ☇ SOUL FOCUS
Admittedly, what Roy knows of Neku, he learned through watching the network and from Raidou Kuzunoha's own testimonies back when Raidou was still around. There is also the fact that Neku was briefly returned home, and now remembers nothing...
It wouldn't be the first time, though. Maybe he'll get to learn more this time around, and in a less stalker-like unconventional fashion.
SAKURABA NEKU, WEAPON ☇ HEADPHONES
It was... odd, but Roy felt totally at ease back then, talking to Oruha - they hit it off so marvelously that it surprised him. He's always been one for a pretty face, but he's never taken such things seriously: beautiful women don't really help the Cause, after all. And none of the other women from other worlds, with the exception of Light struck him this way so soon.
Maybe the chemistry was just right, or maybe she just knew how to handle soldiers like him (she DID mention having a soldier for a boyfriend), or maybe she just came in at the right time, with all the right words. Whatever it is, Roy did feel drawn to Oruha, and is oddly comfortable in her presence. It may have been the ultimate reason why Roy ended up opening up to Oruha when he felt like things were falling apart, with Riza's arrival and Hughes turning up. They ended up becoming very close, and Roy was only beginning to learn how to deal with it when she was taken back home.
There are many fair faces in Death City at the moment and there will be many more in the future, but Oruha's is one that Roy won't ever forget. She was a charming woman, a wonderful cook, and a talented singer - overall, Roy considered it the greatest pleasure (and honor) to be acquainted with her. He hopes, quietly, that she'll come back someday: misplaced, one might think, given the fact that there's a war going on, but Roy knows that Oruha has no other chance beyond this to live a happy life.
She's supposed to be dead in her own world, after all.
ORUHA, WEAPON (returned) ☇ NECKLACE
This was an intriguing relationship, to say the least: Giovanni was the sort to stalk the network and stir up trouble without ever showing up for himself, and did seem to be the arch-nemesis of some of the folks who used to be in the city. He was very good at asking all the wrong and uncomfortable questions, and wasted no time turning them on Roy.
Theirs was a game of cat and mouse even after their first and only meeting in person, and it did leave Roy wondering whether he'd have to take Giovanni down someday. The man is gone now, though.
Part of Roy hopes that it's going to stay that way.
GIOVANNI, WEAPON (returned) ☇ BALL AND CHAIN
Kida's best friend, whom the blond seemed to be particularly awkward about for reasons that Roy never got to discover. Between the two of them, though, it was Mikado that Roy became more acquainted with, especially because Mikado went to him, specifically, for training. He seemed like a good and serious kid, and he was sorry to see him go.
