los angeles trip
| FRIDAY | I left the New Jersey with my mommy around 7:15 a.m. When we got to the airport we had about 20 minutes to board our plane. We couldn't check in our baggage because we were late, but the plane ended up being delayed half an hour anyway. I hadn't had breakfast, and my mom spent all of her cash on the tolls. And just our luck, the damn airline does not take credit cards for food. I had to go 7 hours on a single can of coke and 3 bags of the saltiest peanuts I will ever taste (and I hate peanuts, that's how hungry I was)! We finally landed in Los Angeles. I was cracking up on the plane because I could see where the smog and actual sky separate. My Aunt Jamie was waiting for us and almost had to deck out some bimbo guy in a limo trying to be boss. My mum and I were famished so we stopped at the best place ever, IN N' OUT!! I only had fries + a vanilla shake because I was going to meet up with Hamid for sushi (and the Lakers game) later. I tried to make it to El Camino to surprise Hamid but In N' Out took 30 mins, there was traffic, & my aunt HAD to be dropped off at home. I ended up just meeting Hamid at his house. I saw his new room, it looked really nice, and the new construction in the house (the kitchen is AMAZING) and then we left. I demanded Hyakumi sushi in Northridge (my favorite place for sush) and we got the crunch roll, shrimp salad, and Hamid got the California roll. Then we left for the Lakers game. The Lakers got spanked by the Clippers but we had good seats. Because I'm a fatty I ordered chicken strips and a soda. I froze on the way walking to his car and yeah, it was cold. The Hamid took me to Carson because that's where my mom and I were staying (@ my god mother's house, Aida). We parked to the side and hooked up a little, and then he took me to the front door. I stayed up with my cousin Leon and he showed me his homemade tattoo that his cholo friend did on him. He was dumb enough to tape record and I suggested he take the tape out and hide it.
| SATURDAY | Saturday was my Auntie Brenda's baby shower. I helped make necklaces, and that was about it. People came and I watched Jarone (Grandma Maria's mutt Chihuahua) and Anaya. I took her to the park, ate some baby shower food, and did my own thing. Hamid came at the last 10 minutes, after sitting in an hour and a half of traffic, and then drove me back to The Valley. I invited him to come with me to Benihanas with Katie, Tatiana, Melissa, and Nadia. The food was REALLY good, it was my first time. Melissa introduced me to vegetable tempura & the tofu. Hamid and I shared too many noodles, teriyaki, and rice. I had this good coffee blended smoothie, so delicious! @ the end we shit talked most of the people we used to know and I enjoyed some sherbert ice cream. We took a few pictures outside and then Hamid & I left. I didn't feel like going home so we stopped at Barnes & Nobles to use the toilet. Hamid wanted to look @ music and then we saw Katie, Mel, and Nadia in the window. They came in and then we left & headed to Corbin Bowl. We just hung out and Mel told her boyfriend, Aaron, to come. We then stopped off @ Natasha's house to pick up Nadia's crap-o-la, chit chatted with Iris (her mom), and then headed to the front of Melissa's house for like 10 minutes. We got in the back of Aaron's Explorer and listened to some weird music while I tried to roll around in the trunk (with Katie, Nad, and Hamid back there). I had to be home by 11 and so did Kates so we dropped off Kates and Nad, and then got lost trying to get me home to Katherine and Jeff's. I asked if Stella, their french bull dog, could sleep with us and she did.
| SUNDAY | We went to breakfast with Katherine, Jeff, and Jakey @ some place. I had french toast filled with cream cheese. It was good. Then I shared a chocolate eclair with Katherine, that was good too. My mom and I left to meet my biological "father" @ sherman oaks galleria but he was a no show. I ended up going to lunch with grandma maria, jamie, tamara, t's boyfriend, savannah, and anaya. We went to Grand Lux Cafe and I hadn't been there since my 16th birthday, my last outting with Grandma Frankie (RIP). Tamara's boyfriend pulled the "I left my wallet @ your place" stunt, and I got free dessert because my glass was cracked all around. My mom, jamie, and i went to jamie's place and we watched domino, shitty movie. then jamie's boyfriend wasn't answering his phone so she wanted to stalk him. i sat in a smoke filled house with a bunch of all star wannabes for an hour and a half while she played pathetic. i was so pissed. so i just told her to take me back to katherine and jeff's place so i could sleep. i hate when my hair smells smoky.
| MONDAY | hamid picked me up late and instead of going to breakfast i wanted gelsons. yum! then we waited for curious george to start. we watched that and it was cute. we then snuck into date movie but that was IDIOTIC so we left & got more hyakumi sushi. we met my mom @ coffee bean and took some pictures on my sk2. we all left and then my mom and i went back to carson and waited for our flight. we left @ 10, got to nj, i passed out in the car and my mom is cool and didn't make me go to school.
