Sorry, no more numbers. Besides, I have COMPLETELY lost track any way. Well, lets start out with the basics of stuff that I SHOULD have posted but forgot too.
1- My group won our internship project. woo
2- The internship is technically over.
3- McCann extended my time as in intern for 3 extra weeks. Yay :)
4- Just last week McCann extend my time as an intern until October 9th. WOO! So hopefully by october I shall be posting that I can has job now. :P
5- I went to the NY Ren fair with Wraith. Pictures will be up on fb soon if you are interested. ^.^
6- I have lost a bit of weight. *pats herself on the back* Nothing significant or anything, but just enough for it to be a tad noticeable.
Now, on to things that are not earth shattering, but still worth sharing.
1- there is this guy that delivers chinese food for this little place down the street from me, and he is HELLA BAD ASS. Cause he does it on this rickety bike, and this is not a young dude. He has to be at least 40 or so. On my way home from work I have seen this dude whip through crazy traffic like it was NOTHING. He switches from riding on the sidewalk to tearing though traffic while barely pedaling and he never has on a helmet. But at the same time, I have never seen a car have to stop short for him, or him almost hit a pedestrian or anything like that. I am convinced that this dude has some form of old-chinese-guy-bike-magic or something. But any way, he gets my BAMF (bad ass mother fucker xD ) stamp of the week.
2- On my way home from work last week there was a guy that looked like a half-hobo (unkempt and underfeed, but good enough clothes and not pack-rattish enough to be a real hobo) holding a sign that said "I bet you a dollar you are reading this sign." That made me laugh so hard I went back and gave the guy a dollar and took his picture. I did it with a disposable camera though, so I will have to scan that in at some point. I have GOT to start carrying my digital with me wherever I go.
3- Imogean Heap's album is out. You should go listen to it here-
http://www.imogenheap.com/ellipse/ Also, if you have a twitter (or just feel like looking at something funny) you should check this out-
http://twitter.com/shitmydadsays It will make you lol.
4- I'm getting that itchy "holy crap I need to be actually making something physical!" feeling. Not sure what I want to pick up though. I can' bring the button maker to NYC yet cause of how heavy it is (and I haven't unloaded my last batch of buttons yet.) And I can't work on the shrooms any more because of the same weight/ space issues (to big for the little room, and to heavy/bulky to bring back on the buss with me.) I found a sigh that has free paper toy templates. I might start doing that hmmmm. :P
5- OH I ALMOST FORGOT!!! GO SEE SECTION 9! IT IS AWESOME AND FANTASTIC AND REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD!!! THE TRAILERS HAVE DONE NOTHING TO PREPARE YOU FOR WHAT THAT MOVIE IS ABOUT, AND THAT MOVIE IS EXPECTED BUT NOT ALL AT THE SAME TIME. THE STORY GRABBS HOLD OF YOU QUIETLY AND BY THE TIME SHIT REALLY STARTS GOING DOWN YOU ARE TOO ENTANGLED TO EVEN THINK ABOUT BEING LET GO! GO SEE IT! AND YES ALL THE CAPS ARE NECESSARY!!!! :P
oh, but the film totally deserves it's R rating. There are some serious squick bits. Not overly so, they are all pretty necessary moments but still, just figured I would put that out there.
6- Just finished the book "Barking" by Tom Holt. That was pretty good too. If you are itching for a bit of british real-world-with-fantasy-elelments in a book, then check that one out.
Alright, I think that is it for my tales and recommendations for now. ^.^ Hope all of you on the f-list are doing well too! <3's and *hugs* to you all. As usual, I will try to update more ^.^00
