Recently, I've got into the habit of browsing IMDB for hours and hours on end. I think that it's been an hour and a half tonight (I still have homework, too). But, the benefit of doing such useless activities is that you come across some really interesting movies that maybe you wouldn't have given any thought to previously. Such as There Will Be Blood which I had originally pegged as another western that could never top 3:10 to Yuma (which you have to see with me, Jenny!) because that was great. But I was reading about it on IMDB, and I found out that it's based on a novel by Upton Sinclair, and it has DWAYNE in it (from Little Miss Sunshine)!!! And he's some religious fanatic that does a lot of yelling and is creepily serious. I'm sold. Unless it gets terrible reviews, I'll go see it, just for Dwayne.
Trailer here (my favorite part is around 2:14 haha) And I really need to do homework. Like read some Iliad, summarize some French stuff, prepare for a presentation. Damn.
Also on something of a Jesse James kick, because I found some crazy pictures that gave me plot bunnies. (And on this same note, there's a movie coming out about Jesse James. I wonder a bit about their casting Brad Pitt as James; he doesn't really look anything like him to me, just looks like Brad Pitt. In fact, the guy they casted as Robert Ford looks a lot more like James... I know that trailers give a very skewed view of the actual movie, but I'm a little bit dubious about this one.)
