[Active/Open] wake me, I want to see the daylight
Who: Sora, anyone.
What: A series of nightmares.
Where: In ~dreams~.
When: Anytime between the start and end of the Nightmare storm. Let me know if you have a preferred time!
Warnings: Possible fighting of the Kingdom Hearts shadows and darkness variety, sad children with keys, otherwise nothing!
Notes: There will be three different nightmare scenarios in this, each posted in the comments for people to tag into, and multiple people are free to have threads in the same scenario. Others may be added later, and I'll edit accordingly if they are! Each thread will be started as action, but I'll go with the flow if you prefer prose.
For all his light and good cheer, the Keyblade Master was no stranger to nightmares. Bad dreams were probably the price for keeping all of his worries and fears out of sight and out of mind during the daylight hours...but most of the time, he could handle it just fine. It helped that he could count the number of dreams he remembered having on one hand, and was, for the most part, none the wiser to the darkness that occasionally found it's way into his sleeping thoughts.
That had not been the case for the last few weeks.
No - lately his nightmares had been far too frequent and far too clear to be natural, and he remembered each and every one of them. He wasn't the only one having them, of course; this was a reality storm, and it was affecting just about everyone. But that still didn't make him any more eager to go to bed at night, knowing that he had no idea what he was going to see after he closed his eyes. What he was going to find, or lose.
And no matter how desperately he tried to avoid it, Sora still had to sleep sometime.
