It wasn't that Hekket was hiding, exactly. He certainly wouldn't say so, anyway. If a person were inclined to do a bit of work, well gee, he'd say he was pretty darn easy to find! It was simply that, so far, no one had been willing to do the work.

Calling for someone over Nautilus' network was such an easy way of doing things, after all. No effort involved at all! If someone really wanted to find him, he could be found.

And it seemed that, in the case of Nash, he was putting enough determination into the task.

In truth, Hekket hadn't strayed too far from his home - that being Helix. He was on the southern end of the Western District, in an area that struck a perfect balance between forested and warm. In his opinion, he'd found quite the nice spot.

Which is why, as Nash drew closer, the Deva didn't move an inch from his spot. He remained in his first form (that of a frog), sunning himself on a nice patch of rock.

Oh, to be a Deva.

     He was not just...

After all the trouble he'd gone through, the last thing he wanted to find was Hekket chilling out (or warming up?) out here under the red skies like he had not a care in the world. Nash was prepared to be completely civil about things, but the sight of the frog just relaxing out in the sun was enough to toss that plan right out the window.

"-I can't believe you!!"

A sunbathing frog with sunglasses on, no less. Granted, a Deva covering his eyes was essentially a necessity, especially when in the company of those who had yet to Ascend ... but really. Sunglasses.

And the frog looked like he was loving it.

Nevertheless, Hekket interrupted his relaxation to tilt his head towards Nash, a wide smile on his froggy mouth. Either Nash's outburst had been disregarded, or it was simply adding to the Deva's amusement.

"Golly, that's a heck of a way ta greet someone! Hello to you, too!"

The sunglasses were probably what did it, that little nudge over the line. Nash stalked right up to the frog, folding his arms.

"Wh- okay, fine. Hello. You know, for someone that was really concerned and working hard on getting things set to keep the city out of Chaos, you're certainly relaxed about it. Do you know we've been looking for you? A lot of concerns have come up- probably our fault for not asking specifics but you just seemed to disappear."

"Looking for me? Well gee, they can't have been lookin' too hard, if you're the first to find me!"

The Deva shifted, stretching out each leg one by one. It was a languid sort of stretch; the type often seen after hours spent napping in the sun. And it wasn't until he was done with his stretching that he continued to speak.

"And I'd say a little relaxin' is just what's called for, after all that work! Buuuut, you still look pretty fixed on whatever concerns you've come up with."

One little froggy hand gestured at Nash, urging him on. "Come on now, let's hear 'em! I've got quiiite a bit of relaxin' still to do."

The Harmonian held back a sigh, trying his best not to snap at the frog again, save that it was difficult watching Hekket acting so relaxed. He shook his head.

"You don't know? They've been winding the chains, but Bending has become more difficult- it's the opposite of what happened back when Isis dropped the city. You never said anything about a stopping point, and no one seems to know how to reverse the winding process."
