A Test Run
Who: Nite Owl and Tally Youngblood
What: A few finishing touches and the hoverboard will be ready for a trial run.
Where: Tally's mansion
When: Tuesday afternoon
Dan rounds the corner with a spring in his step. The bag of tools on his right shoulder bounce painfully onto his leg again and again, but he hardly notices. In his hands he holds the reason for his chipper mood- the skeleton of the hoverboard prototype. Finally, after everything that has happened lately (and, well, over the past few years) he is beginning to feel useful again. Maybe he can outfit the whole squad with these. He's already been looking into making non-lethal weaponry for the police, and it couldn't hurt to help out the policemen who don't have any means of transportation.
And maybe then he might feel a little less conflicted about also building a boat for a pirate.
As he approaches the door, he does his best to concentrate on the current situation and not worry about hypothetical ones. He knocks loudly.
