It was a little annoying, having to create her clothes every time she wanted to take a shower or change out of her jogging apparel. It meant she had to sit there, dripping and wrapped up in a towel, trying her very hardest to recreate the things she was comfortable wearing. She wanted to duplicate what the twins had made for her, but it ended up being a VERY simplified version. Still, at least she was getting better at this, enough that she could probably recreate her wardrobe from back home once this weird reality storm was over.

Chie paused, tugging on her wristband, and lifted her head. What was that sound? Rats? There had better not be rats in this house, she'd worked very hard to keep it clean! Besides, all the old food had been thrown out, so there wasn't anything for them here.
*scratch-scratch-skitter-click*
Couldn't be rats, she thought. The sound was coming from outside, and if it was loud enough to be heard over the ocean waves, it had to be something bigger than a couple of rats. She went to the window.
Her first reaction was that she wished she hadn't done that.
Big red lobsters the size of ponies tumbled in the waves, stick-like legs and bone-crushing claws flailing as they rolled and boiled onto the shore. Once there, they joined the others, marching in a eerie, almost military fashion. They were headed straight for the Welcome House, and upon reaching the craggy cliffs upon which the mansion stood, they started to climb.
"EEYAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!" Chie shrieked, stumbling back away from the window. What the hell?! What was going on?! She practically tripped over her own feet as she raced out of her room, heart pounding in her throat. She hated bugs. Lobsters technically weren't bugs, but they had the same features, the same jointed legs, the same creepy buggy eyes, ugh! She had goosebumps all over from the very sight.
But even as she bolted from her room and down the hallway, she came skidding to a halt, horrified at what lay beyond the front of the Welcome House. The streets seemed to have come to life with hustling, crawling, chittering bugs. Beetles, leeches, spiders, grasshoppers, all enormous, all scrabbling over each other as they, too, made a literal beeline straight for the Welcome House.
Immediately she ran to lock the door and slam every window shut that she could find. Her trembling fingers fumbled out her phone, dropped it, and snatched it up again quickly as she made the call.
"Guys! WAKE UP! If you're in the Welcome House, I need you to wake up RIGHT NOW. I think we're under attack!"
