It was a stupid idea from the start, he would admit to himself. Trying to talk to the Heart was never something he enjoyed, nor was he very good at it. Not like those who were in-touch with Nautilus, Starscream had a sort of touch-and-go relationship with the Aeon. He did remeber what the feeling of being connected was, but he often blocked himself from thinking about it. It was far too noisy.
Though the more citizens the city woke, the more crowded it was, and the more chaos these little temper tantrums caused. Maybe he couldn't stop it- but perhaps he could help take the edge off. Lend himself to doing anything but sitting around and risk singing to anyone who crossed his path. And who knows- maybe something worse would happen the next day.
Luckily he didn't feel like having any solos at the moment. He just sat near the glass and tried to feel that rhythm-
The pulse and hear those whispers. He tried to will calmness which, that in and of itself was a task for him. And Autobot would have been better suited for the job but he was unfortunately the best they had at the moment. Like Frag Megatron would do this sort of thing- and many of the Angelii and Ashura were busy or under a more severe influence than himself.
