Who: Oliver Queen and Open
What: investigating crime a scene
Where: the Northern Gate location where Jazz was killed
When: Monday, early evening
Warnings: none at this time
Notes: reminder: despite some of the icons, he is not in uniform.
The man sneaking around the scene is surprisingly large for someone who moves that carefully; with the feel of a body-builder about his broad shoulders and an athlete about his body. A distinctive mustache, curled up on the sides, and a trim goatee jutting out from his chin gives him a craggy look. Even with his arm in a sling, and causal dress instead of his costume, Ollie Queen radiates a certain dangerous intentness as he investigates.
It took Ollie a while to find the location he wanted. The North Gate crime scene, where that fella Jazz had been found. He had to head north, and the city was still new to him. Longing for Star City, his city, hit him every few days, or when he was reminded just how different everything is in Nautilus. All well and good to go visiting, or to joy ride across the continent, but Star City is his city, just as Gotham is Batman’s, and he likes the place, even when it’s full of filth and crime and corruption. That just makes it fun. Heading off to battle super villains and forgetting home and the little people who live in it is a way to lose touch with the world being protected.
The Emerald Archer doesn’t feel quite like his self, without his green attire, as he does super-hero work. There is something about stripping away Oliver Queen and replacing the impoverished philanthropist with the competent and intimidating Green Arrow that makes him feel more than a man.
With an injured shoulder, though it is doing better, and without any of his trick arrows, wandering around an unfamiliar city looking for clue to the identity of a very powerful and mysterious killer is… not one of his best ideas. But Ollie ain’t one to sit around and work on recovering when he could be out stalking the streets. Restless. Pent up. Looking for a thrill that doesn’t come bearing ethical strings.
Maybe soon he’ll ask Bruce to help him bend up him normal outfit. And a bow. Not that he can use it very effectively at the moment, but worse case he can shout a good bow one handed and with his teeth. He doesn’t need a bow to look for clues.
