What: Vince is having issues dealing with his soulless girlfriend, so Manuela comes back home to also deal with his soulless girlfriend.

Today had been a strange day. As of late, Manuela had been more tired than usual - something she attributed to stress, but which was in fact partially due to the weakening of the T-Veronica Virus, and thus, her entire body system - and therefore had slept straight through the fateful meteor shower. It was hard not to notice that something was wrong; since she'd awoken, her communication device had been streaming audio and video of various oddities broadcasted from across Nautilus; strange behavior, newcomers, violence. At once it had included her friend Rion, and she set out for the Western District, worried for his safety - that was where she had been when Vincent's message came through as well.
And his was one of distress, as well - an emotion foreign to her, coming from him. She had been unsuccessful trying to find Rion - she could only pray that he was alright - but she at least knew where Vincent was, and if all he wanted was for her to return, it was easy for her to do. She didn't want to be useless. She wanted to help.
When she arrived, shivering at the door in the Northern District's flurries, she paused before entering. Somebody had arrived from Vincent's home, but she wasn't herself - that's what he had said. And at the time, the woman hadn't seemed dangerous - at least from what Manuela could see. Still, she found herself on guard as she hung up her coat, turning to face inwards and call out. Startling him wouldn't be good.
