He's dead. This isn't what's supposed to happen, is it? It's one thing for the bad guy to make his heroic sacrifice, but - Starscream wasn't the enemy. He has to come back, right? Right?
Flonne knows that's not what's going to happen. Maybe the Decepticons were the bad guys back home. Maybe Starscream really did mean to do just what he did - maybe he knew the price he'd be paying. But all she knows is that she needs to be big, and she needs to finish what he started.
She needs to be like him.
So she focuses, trying to find one thing clearly sticking out in her mind through the rage, and Starscream's smirking face rises to the forefront.

Susan.
Creedy.
Lilliman.
They had all been human, and this might have hindered his hate---for every crime any of them could admit, every one of them knew better than to pretend perfection.
They had all been human, and this might have fanned the flames---they had damaged and destroyed countless lives like theirs. Isis was utterly alien, in a way, and that otherness might have made for an excuse.
He hadn’t decided; he had a doubt he ever would.
