Oh, I will, and you won't like it when I do. [Plans for a new tickle-bot were already forming in Jack's mind in his scheme for vengeance.]

[He had no time to make a proper bot, so arming himself with a feather duster stolen from the Welcome House he was staying in, Jack went on a search, unfortunately very much on foot, for the boy who stole his heli-pack.]

[Peter watched quietly in the healthier treetops, watching for that red-headed boy coming after his whatever-it-is. Holipeck? It didn't really matter. Whatever it was, it was his... but if the boy made through on his threat, the battle should turn out to be most interesting.]

[Jack moved under a grove of healthier trees, which had the sort of strength and verdegris rarely seen in those back when he'd gone through the Western District. He'd had to run when he was back there, lest the spiders get him, seeing as he couldn't fly away anymore. Now he was in the Southern District and it seemed...well, safer, at least. He didn't think to look up, for a moment, instead looking around for a bit, trying to spot some kind of clue. He likely wouldn't have thought to look up if he hadn't startled a nearby bird into flight and looked over to the source of the flapping and, catching the sight of something out of the corner of his eye, looked up.]

Hey! You!

[And with that, Jack ran to the tree and began climbing.]

[Peter grinned. Good, he was getting the game started early! He'd hate to have to sit and wait around while this pale kid tripped over himself searching on the ground.]

Well, looks like this is gonna be interesting.

[Peter doesn't move for a bit, waiting for Jack to get further up the tree -- but when he's close enough Peter leaps up and over, gliding to another branch just out of reach. He's yet to Bend back full flight, but with his pixie dust, at least he can glide.]

Hey! No fair!

[Jack yelled when he saw Peter glide to another tree. Of course, he'd do the same if he was Peter. Climbing down, he discarded the feather duster so he could climb faster, then prepared to climb the new tree...but hesitated. Peter would probably just glide to a new tree once Jack climbed this one, wouldn't he? Instead of climbing, Jack ran off for a moment, gathering rocks, before returning and starting to throw them at Peter. Of course, he didn't have very good aim.]

[Peter's eyes lit up and he grinned. He was attacking. Excellent! He grabbed the helipack from where he'd hidden it in the trees, hopped off his branch and glided downwards, expertly dodging the thrown stones -- not that it was difficult. He pulled his dagger from his boot as he landed and pointed it at Jack, helipack slung over the other shoulder.]

Prepared to fight and for your holly brick, I see!

[greatevillaugh]

[His helipack! It was right there! Jack gave chase, but froze for a moment when he saw the knife, his eyes narrowing.]

That is so not fair, I'm unarmed! And it's a 'helipack'!

I don't really care what it is, it's mine. I found it, and if you want it back, you should have come armed. Why not use more rocks?

Fine! [Jack grabbed more rocks, picking them up and throwing them at Peter.]
