File 006: The Dishwashing Disruption [Video]
[In the Holiday House, Dib is recovering from the Aeon and his subsequent grounding by Caesar. Tell him to do chores? He will do those chores.
But he'll build a machine to do it for him.
In fact, such a machine is already in the kitchen; a big, ugly metal box of a thing that's washing the dishes for him. Another small Roomba-like robot mops and cleans the kitchen floor as Dib himself sits on the counter beside the first machine, typing on his laptop]
So with the Aeon gone, you can actually see the sky right now. And I was wondering, if there are so many other worlds out there, are they all accessed through gates like the one to Kalliste? What if you constructed an alien ship and just flew up into the sky? Would you just reach nothing after a certain point? Are the stars illusions? Are we actually looking at other worlds, or other planets? Or is there a difference?
[Dib suddenly ducks as a plate shoots out from the dishwashing machine and hits a wall, smashing into pieces]
