Brothers and sisters of Nautilus,
I know that there has been a great deal occurring as of late, and I would like to take some time to remind and inform that Holy Week is coming up quite quickly, as Lent comes to an end and Easter approaches. Palm Sunday is not this upcoming Sunday, but the next, with the Sunday after being Easter.
Even in a place such as this, or especially in a place such as this, I feel it is important that we recall the saving act of Grace of Christ and the Cross, the divine assurance of God’s pardon, and the reassurance that we are not alone. We are the beloved children of a loving, forgiving and creating God, who so loved the earth that He gave his only begotten Son, so that we might be saved from our own sins, doubts and fears. Christ who taught us in his live, death, and resurrection that there is no greater love than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
All are invited to participate, to inquire, to assist, as your heart is moved. Should anyone desire to offer up musical or artistic talents in the celebration of Easter, please contact me so that such gifts can be incorporated into the worship services in a way that enables as many as possible to participate.
