[Then you start craving water of all things. Starts out with a few glasses every now and then, just because you're thirsty, then slowly upgrades to OMG WHY ISN'T THERE MORE WATER IN THIS HOUSE. You should have seen this coming.]
[Especially once you got so desperate for not just a drink but just WATER itself, you decided to take a very very very long bath. Perhaps filling up the tub to an inch of overflowing would have been another clue. You knew something was going on. You knew there was a storm coming, but you didn't put the clues together in time.]
[Now you have a tail. What are you going to do now, huh? YOU CAN'T WALK WITH A TAIL.]

[The video slowly comes on, a bit tentative since, well, she's in the bathtub. People will notice the towel wrapped around her torso (that she managed to grab from the place she put it before dunking in here). They'll also notice the strands of seashells, including the Nautilus shell that Rex gave her. It's a lot of them, hard to miss.]
[They'll also notice the gills on her neck and the shiny skin-colored scales coming from beneath the towel and traveling over her shoulder. And, as a bonus, they'll hear sloshing in the background. That would be her new sea legs.]
