I think the biggest difference would be the calendar and that slavery is widely accepted in my world.

In my world weeks are only five days, not seven, and our months always five weeks, but we have sixteen months to a year, making our year longer than the one generally accepted here. It's been interesting trying to adjust to a new calendar system.
