[Locked to Six]
Pato, give that back.
[Hey, Six! Have a picture of a puppy with reindeer antlers on his head. Holiday stuck them on there, simply because they amuse her to no end. But, anyway, the point. She takes the communicator from under the dog.]
Six. I talked with Caesar and... Christmas is here. It's, like, here. We have no tree. No

[He knocked on the door to her bedroom.] It's me. I got your message.

[She opens the door to see him.]
Sorry. I didn't know you were home.
Reply
[He glances over his shoulder.] I'm assuming you don't want this to be overheard.

[Pato runs over and claims his spot at the foot of her bed... He just looks hilarious with those stupid antlers... God, it fits him, though.]

You sounded a bit panicked over the lack of decorations.
Reply
Well, yeah, a little.
[She starts her pacing routine again, Pato following her movements. You haven't seen panicked yet.]
I mean, we couldn't really celebrate at Providence, which is understandable, but this isn't Providence. It's... like... a home... and there needs to be some sort of Christmas going on here. I usually wouldn't wait until the last minute like this, but everything just-
[And she actually stops pacing, looking at her stilled hands that she was ringing together. Pato stops his tail wag.]
Everything just... happened so fast...

...Is it really that important?

YES.
We need a tree. At least.

Why?

It's Christmas. It's not Christmas without a Christmas tree. And it's already the eleventh!
[Please, Six. HUMOR HER.]

We could. I'm not particularly fond of using a live one.
[ALRIGHT. THEY HAVE A GAME PLAN.]
Might as well see how big it'll have to be.
[And heading to the living room. You coming?]
Reply
How big are Christmas trees usually?
Reply
[And they have a nice size living room, too. Not huge, but a decent sized one. The tree would take some effort for one person, but it shouldn't be hard for two.]
[And stepping down into the living room... She eyes it like she might attack soon.]
Now... where to put it?
[In the back near the fireplace? In the front near the windows? Close to the stairs? SO MANY POSSIBILITIES.]
Reply
Where do you usually put a tree?
Reply
Depends on where it would look best. Mom used to put ours by the front window...
[But this living room compared to her childhood home isn't exactly the same.]
Trying to figure out where-... [She's not going to Bend up three trees.]
